DAY I Paro - Thimphu

The flight into Paro on our national carrier, Druk-Air, is a befitting introduction to the spectacular beauty of our country. The remarkable and steep descent into the Paro valley is an awe-inspiring beginning to your adventure. You can feel the pace of life slow down as you reach the country. National Museum

Visit at the Ta- Dzong ,the watch tower of Paro Dzong which now houses the national museum and to Paro Dzong ,it was built in 17th century around 1644 by Shabdrung(the founder of drukpa kagyue school in Bhutan)and In 1646 the Dzong was reconsecrated and established as the administrative and monastic Centre of the western region and it became to known as Rinpung Dzong.it might be femillar to who have seen the movie called Little Buddha in 1993 were filmed in this Dzong,thereafter one and half drive to the capital of Bhutan via Tachogang monastery which wa Build By a Great Saint Thang Thong Gyalpo and chunzom (confluence).At the confluence of paro-Thimphu river, you will see three forms of stupa in different styles: Nepalese, Tibetan, and Bhutanese and a short drive to the capital,check in and rest after dinner.
